Yesterday’s Singapore GP saw two new champions crowned. Tony Elias’s 4th place in the Moto2 race was enough to clinch him the Moto2 title and Jorge Lorenzo’s 3rd in the big race sees him claim his maiden MotoGP championship. Rossi was imperious, as usual, showing that he could do things with a motorcycle that nobody else can. Amazing stuff. Congratulations to Tony and Jorge. The 125 title is still undecided with Spanish teenager Marc Marques regaining the lead in a late-season charge that should see him crowned as the third Spanish world champion this year.
In the BSB, Riyuichi Kyonari won his second title overnight, winning all three races in the final round. Australia’s Josh Brookes finished 2nd overall to give the HM Plant Honda team a 1-2 in the championship.
Very busy day ahead, still sorting and rearranging sheds and the garage. I did have time yesterday to put up my Freddie Spencer poster in the garage yesterday. I’ll get a photo of it and post it later.
