It’s been a busy couple of days. Last time I checked in with you it was Mount Gambier and the excellent Blue Lake. The plan was to go down the Princes and do the GOR, but change of plan led to a run up the inland way, Hamilton, Ballarat and Bendigo where I spent last night. The South Auistralian and Victorian countryside is just magnificent, water lying everywhere in the paddocks and the dams are filled to overflowing.
Local councils are spending up, prettying-up the towns and cities. I haven’t seen them look this good for years. The plan was to make it to Khancoban this evening, but, with time running out, I decided that we’d take the highway back to Canberra instead.
So tomorrow it will be a drone up the Hume to Canberra and then back home to Wollongong.
I’ve found some fabulous roads about which I’ll talk more later, but, for now, dinner at the excellent Commercial Club calls.
Check you tomorrow.

I might have missed the start- but have you been on the bike, Phil?
Safe travels either way!
