Woke up this morning to the glorious sound of rain on the roof. Temperature is about 19 degrees and its overcast and sprinkling now. Put all the pot plants out in the rain to get a free drink, too.
Yesterday was hot and oppressive, but, I did “The Lap” anyway. Up the Pass; quick stop for a cold drink, then on through Kangaroo Valley, up Cambewarra and across to Bomadery. It was stinking at the roundabout so I headed east in search of the sea breeze that I knew would be there. Down through the industrial estate and then a quick fang through the twisties to Shoalhaven Heads, then along Seven Mile Beach, Gerringong, back onto the Princes at Omega Crossing and through Kiama bends. Cool and traffic-free the whole way. Then left at the north end of Kiama, down through Jamberoo and Albion Park, then up the Pass again to TFRPS.
Nobody there when I arrived so I headed straight back down and got home, hot but satisfied.
Oh, I did stop at the bottom of Cambewarra Mountain to let some slow traffic in front of me get away. Good thing I did, too.

You could ride ‘The lap’ blind folded by now…LOL
Great piece of road though ,I’ve ridden those roads only when on my way to some where else.To ride it regularly just for fun would be cool!
