Well it seems my new friend’s accident was a case of human error. His brother retrieved the bike from impound yesterday afternoon and it looks like his mechanic had failed to tighten the back wheel nuts at all. D’oh. Anyway, he was discharged last night to go sort out the mess. I’ll miss his company, we became good mates in just a couple of days. Heal quickly and travel safe, man.
