As I have suggested a number of times over the last few months, things are not good with the Suzuki MotoGP effort. Despite continual claims of “improvements” and the occasional flash of brilliance from rookie rider, Alvaro Bautista, it’s been common knowledge around the traps that Suzuki were likely to pull the pin on their MotoGP career at the end of this season.
Well, now it seems that suspicions have been confirmed. Asphalt and Rubber are reporting that Suzuki have brokered a deal to compete in 2011 with only one bike with a promise to return to a 2-bike team when the rules change in 2012. Read the whole article here.
