In April 2009 I bought a new set of Oxford Hot Grips, heated hand grips. Today, on the way up to the Pie Shop, I noticed that the power controller would not allow me to change heat settings. I checked on the web and, apparently, it’s a known problem with this model.
I also noted in my research that they have a 2 years warranty. Mmmm. So, I rang the dealer from whom I had purchased the product and asked the lady what was the story. I gave her the purchase date and the price that I had paid and she looked it up in her computer. She found that I was correct and said that all I need to do was disconnect the controller box and return it and they would send it back to the distributors for a replacement.
That’s what I call supporting the product.
