After many attempts to revive the iconic Norton name, it seems that someone might be finally, actually, be going to do it. News in today of a new range of motorcycles bearing the Norton name and they look very promising indeed.
Here’s the official Norton web site. If you click on each model you’ll see detailed specifications for each of them. They look very interesting. Around 80 horsepower and 188kgs weight should make for good performance (as a guide, the original Z1 Kawasaki had 83 bhp and weighed 233kgs). USD forks, Ohlins suspension, and high-qual running gear should make them very desirable bikes.

No word on Australian distribution or price, but at around 16000 POUNDS in England, if they DO come here they won’t be cheap. Having said that, however, I wish them every success.
I’d have one in my dream garage.
And, yes, I did notice that the red bike has no brake calipers!
