Now, I’m not really that “hip” with all the modern technology, but, while surfing one of my favourite forums this morning, I came across this link. Liam Schubert is a member of this forum and, for two years, he worked as a technician with the Pramac Ducati MotoGp team. I was fortunate enough to be able to meet him at PI in 2007 and he came across as the no-nonsense type of guy that he seems to be on the forum.
Liam is now working in the States, southern California, but his two years of travelling the circuit has given him some excellent on-going contacts within the game and also a perception that few outside of it can bring to the table. So, I was delighted when I saw that Liam is starting a webcast on OnTheThrottle.tv, one of the better-known motorcycle racing web sites in the US.
These broadcasts are available live and also for delayed replay and you can find them by following this link. Click on the “Live” button at the top right hand and then select either of the two “On the throttle Live” menu selections.
They’re a bit sketchy at the moment as Liam refines the presentation, but, if you want insider insight, I can certainly recommend it.
