I spent the day at Wakefield Park today, commentating Round 3 of the Ste George Motorcycle Club’s Honda Rjays series. 20 races flying solo, so the throat is a bit sore tonight. It was a great ay’s racing with, as usual, some potential starts on show. One of the most noticeable was Sophie Lovett, daughter of multiple dirt bike racing star, Phil Lovett, who was also racing today. Sophie, on a worked Ducati 1198, won two races and finished 12th in the third race (in the pouring rain). Very impressive.
Tomorrow is the Four Hour relay teams race which I also look like calling solo, so if I don’t talk to you tomorrow, you’ll know why.
