…Winter arrived last night. Ambient is just above 10 here on the coast but, on the tops, it’s much colder. The pictures here are by David Metcalf and show scenes of a considerable dumping of snow in and around Robertson.
While it seems crazy for there to be snow on the tops while being in sight of the ocean (less than 20kms away), Robertson is over 700 metres above sea level and the widespread cold front that swept in last night has resulted in snow below 1000 metres which is most unusual.
Rugged up today, I shouldn’t have said anything yesterday, eh?
