That’s my VFR on the right. Next to it is my brother’s new bike. Yep, that’s right. Unbeknown to me, Paul went and bought a new bike. Another VFR, which means that my suggestion that he buy one a few years ago that led to his buying the blue 750 was pretty clever since he has now replaced it with that glorious Gen5, in red, WITH Gen6 wheels! And, best of all, the bike is a genuine 2 owners with FSH and has only done 30000kms!!! Yep, it’s that good! And you can tell that the mileage is genuine because it still looks like a new bike. I’m very happy for him.
Oh, and the bike on the left? Well, that’s Wayne’s VFR800X. Wayne’s ridden for years but only dirt bikes. So, when he decided to ride a road bike, he had to do 3 months on red “P” plates, which he did on a lovely CB400F. Now that he’s on his “blacks” he has bought the X and it IS brand new, spankers, right off the showroom floor. He loves it, who can blame him?
Am I jealous? Not a bit….(although there is a lovely 750 in Canberra at the moment with only 44000kms on it….:) )
