My good mate Ottis Lance is back in hospital today in Texas. His recovery from two major surgeries has been spectacularly good but, like every road racer, he doesn’t know how to run at half throttle. He attended the USGP at COTA a few weeks ago, and, by his own admission, he walked a lot, like a lot too much.
Last week his leg was giving him pain and he finally relented and went back to the doctor. An X-Ray revealed that the metal rod inserted in his leg has stress fractured at the bend near the knee and will have to be replaced again. Otter says that this time he is going to insist on a titanium strut “Cos I’m a racer!”
If you’re a praying person please do so; otherwise keep him in your thoughts and send some positive energy his way. He’s been through a lot and he deserves it.
Thank you all.
