but THIS Cap’n Bligh..
Of all the things good and bad that have come out of the Queensland floods, by far and away the best has been the extraordinary performance of the Queensland Premier, Anna Bligh. Despite lack of sleep, untold pressure and the emotional burden that the floods have been, the Premier has given a statesman-like showing the like of which has rarely been seen in this country. Other politicians on both sides of the divide would do well to study the videos of her press conferences and interviews to see just how a REAL leader behaves.
I never discuss politics on this site and I’m not going to start now, but what we have seen from this remarkable woman in the last week transcends politics.
