For those for whom “exclusive” can never be exclusive enough (read “deep pockets”) comes news this morning that Aprilia are marketing a full carbon-fibre body kit for the RSV-4. While apparently providing no performance gain (!) it will enable you to set your $35k race-rep apart from your neghbour’s 35k race rep. There IS, apparently a gain in terms of better rigidity (yawn), but, really, it’s just an excuse for the factory to flog more exotica to people who already have too much of it to start with.

So the whole caboodle will set you back an eye-watering 4480 Euros which, in real people’s measurement is…are you ready for this?? A$5975.
