As expected, the PRAMAC team has announced overnight that they are hiring the veteran Italian, Loris Capirossi, for 2011. Capirossi becomes another victim of the Suzuki curse and PRAMAC will lose both current riders and slim down to a 1-bike team for 2011.
I’m now in Wollongong hospital and it’s a bit better today. Had my first proper shower in a week this morning and that’s impoved my outlook on life no end. The Ortho guys came and saw me this morning and they’re real happy. Stitches out next Tuesday and the heavy cast on my arm to be replaced with a lightweight one, yay.
Physio had me up hobbling in a frame today. Utterly exhausting – has to be done, though.
Well, that will have to do today. Left-handed, one-fingered typing is very tiring.
