Following on from the announcement that Marco Melandri will be going to Yamaha WSBK, the team announced yesterday that they have also signed WSS man, Eugene Laverty as their second rider for next year. Now this, of course, means that another piece of the puzzle is in place. In my opinion, they have done well to find replacements for Crutchlow and Toseland, both of whom were major disappointments this season. Word is that Toseland is casting around for a return gig at Ten Kate where he probably would still be welcome, or at BMW to replace Rueben Xaus.
