Or so they say.
On the 25th I am booked in to have arthroscopic surgery on my bung knee. According to my doctor I can wait 3 years and have it fixed as a public patient or do nothing and be almost crippled by Christmas. Some choice.
So I’m biting the bullet and paying for it out of my pocket. All I can say is, it’d better be worth it.
If you’re interested, you can read about what’s done and how HERE.
In motorcycling news, the American rider, Jason de Salvo has parted company with the Triumph team for whom he has been riding in the WSS. For a rider who has been used to being at the “pointy” end in AMA, being at the back in the WSS must have been very depressing,
Valentino Rossi’s surgery has been completed with the open wound being closed overnight and doctors seem pleased.
I know it’s unkind to make fun of another’s misfortunes, but I got a giggle out of this.

At least the corner workers made sure they knew who it was!!!

I guess one of the reasons for the pain, apart from the obvious one, is that he’s been able to race for 14 years without ever once hurting himself badly. Must have been quite a shock to the lad! Thanks for the good wishes, mate. I, too, hope it all works out.
