Some new Kenny Blake photos.

Most of you know that I am a Kenny Blake tragic. This peerless Aussie road racer was an 11 times Australian champion, master of the Six Hour Race (including winning the 1973 race riding solo for six hours on the Z1 Kawasaki), and all-round great guy.

Sadly, Ken was killed while competing in the Isle of Man TT races in 1981 and my website, seeks to carry on his memory and pay tribute to the life and times of one of our greatest.

Through a strange combination of circumstances I have come into possession of a great number of wonderful B&W photos of Ken taken in and around Victoria in the 1970’s by that excellent photographer, Rob Lewis. It’s taken some time to get it organised as I haven’t updated the site for nearly 6 years now, but I got my html thinking cap on and, using nothing more than Notepad as my html editor, I have updated the site and published some of these evocative photos.

If you haven’t visited the site before, drop in and have a look. As well as the photos there are interviews with road racing legends Tony Hatton and Michael Cole as well as lots of other things pertaining to Ken’s career.
