Jorge Martinez’s Aspar sqaud will not be running a privately-entered Kawasaki MotoGp effort in 2009. Martinez has announced that, as Kawasaki were not prepared to give on the subject of a Spanish rider (something on which Martinez’s wealthy backers were insisting) and, since the factory could only guarantee bikes for this year, he was pulling out of the deal. Martinez is very keep to enter MotoGp but wants a long-term plan, not a short-term one like this which would really benefit neither party.
